This facility needs to change its name to Made in America/Made in Japan 1996 and up. I have a Mitsubishi 3000GT, I was wanting to change my timing belt the gentleman who answered the phone said they can't work on it because it is a 94. Not sure what the difference is between two years since it is the exact same engine from 94 to 99. The gentleman came off as if they really just didn't want to work on my car.

Really? 1994 is OBD1 protocol and 1996 is OBD2. We only go back to 1996 due to parts availability and scan tool software. Not to mention, a lot of things can go wrong when a vehicle that age gets taken apart. I understand your frustration but don’t fault us just because we don’t take in 30 yr old vehicles.

Made In America is a rare jewel. Finding honest knowledgeable mechanics is a challenge these days. Look no further. I found their integrity and reliability to be impeccable. They do not try to sell you services you don’t need. Yet helpfully alert you as to future potential mechanical concerns. I really appreciate their No surprises mode of supporting their customers. I recommend you make time to become acquainted with service manager, Alex Chadburn, ASAP. While waiting for my car to be serviced, I talked with some of their long term customers, one who had been coming from El Dorado Hills for many years to have all of their cars serviced here. This is the place you want to service your vehicle. Prompt, knowledgeable, patient, honest and kind. My 4Runner’s transmission blew on the way to Tahoe. The Bay Area independent garage that services it steered me to MIA/MIJ to assess and advise. They were amazing! If I lived in Sacramento this is the only place I’d ever take any vehicle I ever owned. Contacted them late August/ Early September for my 2005 G35. I knew going into it that the car needed work and they preformed everything well. The car runs great with no issues at all. I will be back for routine oil changes and maintenance. They also told me what would needed to be done in the future with no added pressure. I give them 5/5 for the best customer service and work. A job that is down well is always done right.

Alex and his team saved me a bunch of money. Not only was the dealership milking me for money, they were making it seem as if my life was in danger but also not wanting to do the work and telling me the parts were unavailable. Alex reassured his work and guaranteed me that my life was save as well as my vehicle and didn't overcharge me for anything and was honest.
